Love Island USA season 2 couple Carrington and Laurel were fan-favorites, but it appears the two have moved on since their time on the show.

On Love Island USA season 2, Laurel Goldman and Carrington Rodriguez took the Barbie and Ken cake. They maintained unrealistic proportions, perfectly coiffed hair, and had very few conversations. Unfortunately, Barbie and Ken are known for their long-term commitment to each other. They've never married, but they've never broken up, either. Were Laurel and Carrington the same way?

Carrington came into the Love Island USA villa on a Las Vegas rooftop and coupled up with Kaitlynn. However, their relationship was short-lived because Kierstan Saulter came in and swept Carrington off his feet. Unfortunately, Carrington realized Kierstan wasn't exactly the girl he was looking for on the inside. Finally, during the boy-cation at Casa Amor, Carrington met Laurel, a blonde Southern sweetie who seemed to be the opposite of Kierstan. When the Casa Amour twist ended, Carrington the Ken doll returned his Barbie to the villa. Sadly, Kierstan chose not to re-couple and was crushed to see her boy return with Laurel.

Laurel Competed With Lakeyn For Carrington's Affection In Love Island USA

As the days passed on Love Island USA season 2, Kierstan dried her tears, and Laurel and Carrington seemed to get along quite well. However, it became abundantly clear that they didn't spend much time talking to one another when Lakeyn Call came into the villa. Laurel noted the seemingly-instant connection shared between Lakeyn and Carrington. She worried he'd opened up more to this new person in one day than he had to her after two weeks. Carrington told Laurel that Lakeyn turned his head, but ultimately, he picked Laurel. Together, the Barbie and Ken duo placed fourth at the Love Island finale.

Laurel & Carrington Broke Up In December 2020

While Carrington and Laurel looked fantastic together, the Love Island USA pair, unfortunately, went their separate ways. Carrington broke up with Laurel in December 2020. In fact, Carrington and Laurel no longer follow each other on Instagram. Additionally, Laurel has a boyfriend named Bryce, whom she has been dating since 2021. Laurel last posted about him on her Instagram on Valentine's Day, 2023. Carrington appears to be single.

Carrington and Laurel may have been Barbie and Ken on Love Island USA, but their relationship fizzled quickly after leaving the villa. However, according to their social media, both seem to be thriving in their individual lives. Hopefully, new couples that form in Love Island USA season 5, which airs on Peacock in the summer of 2023, will be more long-lived.
