Snowpiercer

Seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland, the remnants of humanity inhabit a perpetually-moving train that circles the globe, where class warfare, social injustice and the politics of survival play out. Snowpiercer is primarily focused on Daveed Diggs' Layton — a former detective and citizen of the train's tail who is tasked with investigating a murder in first class — and Jennifer Connelly's Melanie, the head of the train's hospitality and the the voice of the absent Mr. Wilbur.

Following years of delays, a change in showrunners, directors, and networks, Snowpiercer finally debuted on TNT in May 2020. The series is based on Bong Joon-Ho's 2013 film of the same name and the 1982 French graphic novel Le Transperceneige Jacques Lob, Benjamin Legrand, and Jean-Marc Rochette. Season 2 premieres on TNT on January 25, 2021. Snowpiercer season 3 has officially been confirmed, though it does not yet have a release date.
