Elden Ring: Every Divine Tower Location
Charlotte Adams Players wishing to benefit from their hard-earned Great Runes will first need to find and climb Divine Towers in order to activate them.
As players begin acquiring Great Runes in Elden Ring, they must reach their respective Divine Towers if they want to reap the benefits. These runes are obtained by defeating the main bosses in the game, and each will offer players different buffs and effects. However, it is not sufficient to simply loot them by defeating the bosses as players will need to activate them, equip them and combine them with Rune Arcs in Elden Ring in order to gain their effects.
The first thing players must do after getting a Great Rune is find the nearest Divine Tower, which is likely to be the one associated with it. The doors to these towers will often be closed shut and can only be accessed after players obtain their rune. After opening it, players must climb it all the way to the top in order to activate the Great Rune by interacting with the broken ring near the dead Two Fingers.
After being activated, Great Runes can be equipped by resting at a Site of Grace. Now that they are active and equipped, players will need to use a special item called a Rune Arc to trigger their effects in the game. These can range from buffs to all stats to an increase in HP and will last until their character dies in Elden Ring. Rune Arcs can be found throughout the Lands Between or bought from merchants, such as the Twin Maiden Husks at Roundtable Hold.
Where to Find Godrick’s Divine Tower in Limgrave in Elden Ring
To reach this Elden Ring tower players will need to follow the broken bridge leading eastward out of Stormveil Castle. On the bridge, players will encounter three golems, one of which will stay in the back shooting arrows. Behind him is a teleporter that will lead players across the broken bridge and directly in front of the Divine Tower. After arriving there, simply open the door and climb the tower to activate the first Great Rune.
Where to Find Radahn’s Divine Tower in Caelid in Elden Ring
Getting to this tower will require players to do a bit of platforming as it cannot be reached by conventional means. As they approach, players may notice roots extending towards the tower that they will have to use to get on the outside of the building in order to climb it. There are several ladders on the outside, but finding the right way up should be easy enough if players follow the ones lit by torches. Players should make use of their mount in Elden Ring and the arches of the building to maneuver around the tower in order to reach the necessary ladders.
Where to Find Morgott’s and Mohg’s Divine Tower in East Altus in Elden Ring
This tower is the only one in Elden Ring that is used to activate two different Great Runes, Morgott’s and Mohg’s. The reason why Mohg might not have his own Divine Tower may have something to do with the fact that his Great Runes’ effects are exclusive to the online component of Elden Ring, therefore lessening its impact on the main game. Reaching this tower is relatively simple as players just need to follow the main road leading east out of Leyndell.
Where to Find Rykard’s Divine Tower in West Altus in Elden Ring
The way to this tower is somewhat complex as it will require players to go through the Sealed Tunnel and then through several of Elden Ring's Illusory Walls. These are not very difficult to find as the tunnel is relatively linear, and they are located at the end of each section. Additionally, players will also need to defeat a boss, Onyx Lord, after which they will reach the entrance to the tower deep underground and can finally climb it to activate the Great Rune.
Where to Find Malenia’s Isolated Divine Tower in Elden Ring
This tower can only be reached near the end of Elden Ring and will require players to go through several teleporters. The path to it begins in southern Limgrave at the Tower of Return, by climbing the decrepit tower and opening the chest at the top. This will transport players to Leyndell, after which they should move forward and turn left when they see one of Elden Ring's golems to find a teleporter that will take them to the Isolated Divine tower where they can activate Malenia’s Great Rune.
Where to Find the Divine Tower in Liurnia in Elden Ring
Although players will likely notice this tower early in Liurnia of the Lakes, they won't need to go near it anytime soon as Renalla, the main boss of this area drops the only Great Rune in Elden Ring that does not need to be activated. Instead, this Divine Tower is deeply associated with Ranni’s questline and will not be accessible until later in the game, after they acquire the Carian Inverted Statue from her.
