How To Get The Horror's Least Pulse Rifle (& God Roll)
James Stevens The Horror's Least Pulse Rifle returns in Destiny 2 with an overhauled perk pool. While a former god roll is available, a new one may take its place.
The Horror's Least Pulse Rifle has made a triumphant return in Destiny 2 with a rework that has overhauled its god roll and associated perks. As long-time fans may recall, the Horror's Least Pulse Rifle is a Rapid-Fire Frame weapon that deals Arc damage. As a Rapid-Fire Frame gun, the weapon has deeper ammo reserves and a faster reload speed when the magazine is empty. While some of its previously available perks remain available in the reworked version, there are some newly added options as well that make the Pulse Rifle feel like an entirely new weapon.
Rapid-Fire Frame Pulse Rifles excel in the Crucible, which is where the Horror's Least previously saw popularity as well. However, despite the fact that this favorite has been reissued, Horror's Least is not a weapon that can be crafted in Destiny 2. Much like the previously issued version, Horror's Least can only be obtained by completing a Nightfall, but it may be easier to farm now more than ever.
Nightfall weapons are only available for the week that they're issued as a reward for completing whatever that week's particular mission is. That being said, Horror's Least was a special weapon that was only available when The Corrupted Nightfall in the Dreaming City was that week's mission. However, despite it technically being a gun that was unique to that particular Nightfall, it wasn't technically the Nightfall weapon of the week. Now, whenever Horror's Least becomes available, players can earn it indefinitely as the designated reward. Furthermore, like the formerly sunset D.F.A. Hand Cannon in Destiny 2, an Adept version of Nightfall will be available when Grandmasters become available on July 5 as well.
The Best Perks For Horror's Least In Destiny 2
When Horror's Least does become the Nightfall reward for the week, there are some fantastic perk options that players should be looking for. Fortunately, any barrel option other than Full Bore is acceptable on Horror's Least, though Arrowhead Brake and Extended Barrel will help players control the weapon's recoil pattern in both PvE and PvP activities. For PvP, Horror's Least has great options like Tactical Mag, Steady Rounds, and Flared Magwell, and both Extended Mag and Appended Mag are great for PvE. For a roll that will serve all Vanguard, Gambit, and Crucible activities in Destiny 2, players should look for a roll that has both Arrowhead Brake and Tactical Mag. Additionally, these third and fourth perk combinations are perfect for Horror's Least.
- 1. Zen Moment/Frenzy - Stability increases with weapon damage while, as well as increased damage, handling, and reload speed when surrounded by enemies.
- 2. Zen Moment/Kill Clip - In addition to the stability benefits, reloading after a kill grants a 33% increase in damage.
- 3. Under Pressure/Frenzy - Offers more stability as the magazine gets lower.
- 4. Heating Up/Frenzy - Similar to the previous roll's benefits, but stability and accuracy increase with each kill.
