Where to Find Sunken Bone in Grounded
Isabella Ramos To find Sunken Bone in Grounded, players must dive into the dark depths of the Koi Pond biome and use a special tool to dislodge the bones.
In Grounded Sunken Bone is a Tier-2 crafting material used for Melee Weapons like the Rusty Spear, Bone Dagger, and Bone Trident. Players will also need Sunken Bone in Grounded for assembling the Chestplate and Greaves of the Koi Scale Armor Set, as well as the Bubble Helmet. This single-set helm provides an additional 80 seconds of Oxygen when submerged, making it highly practical when exploring the depths of the Koi Pond.
As its name implies, Grounded's Sunken Bone is found in the dark and treacherous underwater biome known as the Pond Depths. This area is located deep beneath the Koi Pond's surface on the Yard map's northern side. To explore the Pond Depths in Grounded, players must either make quick trips from the abyss to the surface or acquire some gear enabling them to hold their breath longer underwater.

Remember, these depths are incredibly dim without a light source. Being able to see clearly underwater might be necessary to avoid the Diving Bell Spiders swimming within the Koi Pond while looking for Sunken Bone in Grounded.
Sunken Bone In Grounded: What You Need
Players should note that an Acorn Shovel is required to dislodge Sunken Bone from the earth of the pond's floor, the same instrument used to harvest Clay, Muddy Scales, and Grubs in Grounded. The Grounded Wiki states that the Acorn Shovel crafting recipe is:
Sprig | x2 |
Crude Rope | x1 |
Acorn Shell | x1 |
If players have been exploring the massive map of the Yard, they will undoubtedly have encountered plenty of Sprigs, as this small sprout-like plant grows in just about every biome of the game. On the other hand, Crude Rope is not a natural resource but a refined crafting material in Grounded made from Plant Fiber. To get Plant Fiber players will need to construct a Grinder, which is made using:
Red Ant Parts | x5 |
Flower Petals | x3 |
Acorn Shells | x2 |
Weed Stems | x2 |
Since Acorn Shells are necessary to make both the Acorn Shovel and Grinder, most players will already have gathered several stacks during their adventure. For clarification for newcomers, Acorn Shells can be gathered from fallen Acorns, which lie about the ground surrounding the massive tree in the Oak Hill biome in Grounded.
Once players have collected all the necessary materials, they can craft the Acorn Shovel. After obtaining a light source and planning a two-way route back to the water's surface, descend to the dark bottom of Koi Pond to find Sunken Bone in Grounded.
