Daivadipa FATE Boss Guide (Tips, Tricks, & Strategies)

Daivadipa is a boss that players can defeat in Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker to obtain Daivadipa's Beads which can be traded for unique rewards. Players will need to complete FATEs in Thavnair in order to get Daivadipa to spawn, but there's no guarantee when the Boss FATE will be active. Daivadipa has a max cooldown of 48 hours, so players may be waiting a while to defeat this boss in FFXIV: Endwalker.
FATEs are events that occur across Eorzea in FFXIV. FATEs range from boss battles to escort missions, and they are open to any party in a given server. Players can team up to get the maximum credit for completing a FATE. In order to obtain rewards from the Daivadipa FATE, players will need to join the event as soon as it starts and do as much damage and healing as possible. Doing so will earn ensure players earn gold and get the maximum amount of Daivadipa's Beads for each encounter.
To try to get the Daivadipa FATE to spawn, players will need to complete two other FATEs. Players can find and finish "Devout Pilgrims vs. the Jungle Lizards" and "Devout Pilgrims vs. the Apalala," then there's a possibility that the FATE, "Devout Pilgrims vs. Daivadipa," will be available to complete. Both of the required FATEs are battles located in FFXIV: Endwalker's Thavnair, and completing them has a chance to spawn Daivadipa in the square Jnanamandapa arena.
How to Defeat Daivadipa in Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker
Daivadipa has several close-range attacks that can deal a lot of damage, so players should try to stay behind the boss. There are also area of effect attacks players should watch out for during the Boss FATE. Players can avoid these attacks by moving away from the indicated areas before Daivadipa performs its attack. Due to Daivadipa's rare spawn chance, it's likely there will be a lot of players participating in the fight, so the boss should be fairly easy to defeat.
After completing the Boss FATE in FFXIV: Endwalker, players will be awarded two, four, or six Daivadipa's Beads depending on if they earned bronze, silver, or gold for the fight. To earn the maximum amount of credit, players will need to deal a large amount of damage and heal surrounding parties often. Players will need a total of 18 Daivadipa's Beads to claim every prize currently available for purchase with this unique item. To use Daivadipa's Beads, players will need to visit Nesvaaz in Radz-at-Han.
There are four items available for purchase from Nesvaaz with Daivadipa's Beads. Players can purchase the Gaja Suit, Gaja Head, a Thavnairian Barding, and a Wind-Up Daivadipa. Each reward has a different price with the most expensive one being the Gaja Suit, which costs six Daivadipa's Beads. Players will need to defeat Daivadipa at least three times to claim every Daivadipa's Beads reward in FFXIV: Endwalker.
