Pokemon Go is having a special movie tie-in event for the Pokemon Jungle Movie. Here's how players can capture their own Shiny Rufflet.

Shiny Rufflet is one of the creatures available in this Pokemon Go event. This guide will show players how they can find and capture Shiny Rufflet. Pokemon Go is holding an event to celebrate the release of the upcoming Pokemon Jungle Movie. This film will focus on one of the legendary Pokemon from the Galar region, Zarude. This Pokemon is not available in the base game but will be given in the future through various distribution methods depending on which region the player is from. This is fairly common for the Pokemon series as event Pokemon has been a driving force to push trainers to trade with others around the globe. There are various changes happening in Pokemon Go because of this event, including the chance to encounter a Shiny Rufflet. This guide will help players find and catch a Shiny Rufflet.

For starters, a new Special Research was introduced in the game that focuses heavily on Grass-type Pokemon. While fairly short, players will be rewarded with the chance to capture a Shiny Celebi, one of the main characters of the upcoming jungle movie. Not only that, but several Pokemon have their spawns increased, including Woobat, Caterpie, Durant, and Dwebble. Lastly, players can encounter a special Explorer Pikachu, as the yellow rat rocks an explorer hat and bag. Rufflet is also one of the Pokemon affected by this event. How To Find (& Catch) Shiny Rufflet in Pokemon Go

There are currently two different ways for players to obtain a Shiny Rufflet in the game.

• Eggs: A Shiny Rufflet has the chance of emerging out of a 5km egg. Make sure to clear out your old eggs before the event is over. Although, this is the more challenging way to do this out of the two methods.
• Raid Battles: Players can encounter Rufflet in 1-star raids. Players should be able to defeat it in battle fairly easily on their own. When the battle is over, the chances of it being a Shiny Pokemon is much higher. Continue to do the raid battles for the best chance to obtain a Shiny Rufflet.

Players can then give Rufflet enough candy to evolve it into a Braviary. This is one of the stronger Flying-type Pokemon in the game and one of the relatively newer ones so players might want to focus on it for this event. The event is ending in a few days, make sure to capitalize before its too late.
