Is Sons Of Anarchy On Netflix, Hulu Or Prime?
Sarah Parker Sons Of Anarchy is Kurt Sutter's gritty biker show that ran for seven seasons but where can it be found online and is it on Netflix, Hulu or Prime?
Where can Sons Of Anarchy be seen online and is it on Netflix, Hulu or Amazon Prime? Kurt Sutter first made a name for himself with his work on cop drama The Shield, but he's best known as the creator of Sons Of Anarchy. The show is the loosest possible adaptation of Shakespeare's Hamlet and revolves around the biker club SAMCRO. Charlie Hunnam's Jax Teller serves as the series' antihero, who often has to navigate loyalty to his family and club amid frequent outbreaks of violence.
Sons Of Anarchy never shied away from gruesome violence or disturbing sequences, and while it went over the top more than once in terms of both bloodshed and plotlines, it featured some genuinely great performances and drama too. It ultimately ran for seven seasons, coming to an end in fittingly Shakespearian style in 2014. Kurt Sutter later created spinoff Mayans M.C., which featured a few familiar faces from its mother series. Sutter was later fired by FX from the show following complaints of his "abrasive" behavior during the production of the second season.
Charlie Hunnam also ruled out any kind of return on Mayans M.C. - which would be difficult given how Jax's arc played out - since he had a hard time shaking off the character when Sons Of Anarchy came to an end. For those who feel like binging the series from beginning to end, all seven seasons of Sons Of Anarchy can be found on Hulu in the U.S.; it's not currently available on Netflix or Prime in the U.S., though it can be viewed on Netflix UK.
Sons Of Anarchy is also available to purchase from Vudu, iTunes, Google Play and Amazon. Sutter is next set to make his movie acting debut with a supporting role in Doug Liman's upcoming Chaos Walking, co-starring Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley. He's also revealed he's interested in producing two more shows set in the Sons Of Anarchy universe. One would be nine-episode miniseries First Nine, which would be a prequel about the founding of the club.
The second would be Sam Crow, which would follow Jax's son Abel as he follows in his father's footsteps. While Kurt Sutter is interested in following up Sons Of Anarchy, he's also admitted given his current situation with Fox and Disney, the reality of either one ever happening is up in the air right now.
