After filming Below Deck Med season 6, Malia White has continued to work as a bosun. She has completed several charters and even has a new boyfriend.

After Malia White completed filming Below Deck Mediterranean season 6 last year, she went on to continue working as a bosun on other superyachts. Malia first joined the Bravo series in 2017 for season 2 as a green deckhand. She worked alongside bosun Wes Walton and deckhands Max Hagley and Bobby Giancola. Besides proving her skills on deckhand, she also developed feelings for bosun and chef Adam Glick.

Malia left the series after appearing on Below Deck Med season 2 and returned for season 5 as a bosun. Viewers began to turn against Malia after she ratted out chief stew Hannah Ferrier for having unregistered Valium and a vape pen in her cabin. Hannah was immediately fired and left yachting for good, but Malia returned for season 6 as the bosun again, seemingly hoping to redeem herself. While some viewers started to like Malia this season, others could not get over what happened last year.

Since Below Deck Med season 6 wrapped filming last year, Malia has continued to thrive as a bosun. Before she went back on charter, however, Malia had a much-needed vacation in Iceland. The 31-year-old shared via Instagram a number of photos of herself enjoying the scenic views Iceland has to offer. Malia, who was called fake by Lexi, also posted a video of herself free diving into the Silfra Continental Divide. After her trip to Iceland, Malia went home to spend some much-needed time with her family and friends. Once she got to get some family time in, Malia headed back to charter in Antigua. She even spent Christmas on a charter, sharing a cute photo in a bathing suit and a Santa hat. Once her charter in Antigua came to an end, Malia began a new one in The Bahamas. Malia revealed she spent some time living the van life on the Pacific Northwest and even traveled to Portland to visit her family.

Later, Malia, who regrets the Hannah scandal, headed to Denver to spend some much-needed time with her friends. After spending some time in the United States, Malia headed to Costa Rica, then back to Fort Lauderdale, and then to Spain, where was back on charter. During one of her days off, she and certain crew members decided to take a scooter out and explore the island of Mallorca. Unfortunately, Malia got into a really bad scooter accident and suffered from a fractured elbow, broken toes, and severe road rash. Thankfully, Malia has since recovered and is currently on charter in France. Besides her thriving career, Malia also confirmed during the Below Deck Med season 6 reunion that she is in a relationship with Jake Baker, who appeared as the engineer this past season. She admitted that she and Jake didn't start dating until after they departed from Lady Michelle.

Now that Below Deck Mediterranean season 6 has come to an end, Malia is back to doing her regular job as a bosun. Alas, she will always also be remembered as a reality star. As for whether she will return for season 7, that cast is still largely unknown.
